Taylor had braces twice, extracted 2 teeth which led her to get an openbite with facial (Orofacial) and TMJ pain. She was recommended to get a jaw surgery for her open bite issue. Dr. Chang treated her with MEAW (Multiloop Edgewise Arch Wire) & GEAW (Gum Metal Edgewise Arch Wire) technique without the need of a jaw surgery. After about 6 months into the orthodontic treatment with Dr. Chang, her facial pain was completely gone!
Nael never had braces before but one day he realized that his appearance had drastically changed and needed to do something about it!
Orthodontics in combination with orthognathic jaw surgery was presented as the only treatment option by all the other orthodontists he had visited within DFW metroplex. Dr. Chang treated him NON surgically using MEAW and GEAW orthodontic technique. At the end of the braces, space needed for implants and restorations were created so that the dentist may ultimately achieve an esthetic and functional bite. Nael can not stop telling how much the orthodontic treatment using MEAW and GEAW technique has improved his quality of life!
